Delete your ClearSlip account

You can delete your ClearSlip account and all data linked to it at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Delete in the app

Open ClearSlip and sign in.
Go to More → Account.
Tap Delete account permanently and confirm.

The account and its data are erased from the server immediately.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app or can’t sign in, email support@clearslip.app with the subject “Delete account”. Include your username, and write from the email address linked to the account if you added one. We will delete the account within 3 business days and reply when it is done.

What is deleted

your user name, password hash and email address;
all operations, accounts, categories, budgets, templates and the shopping list;
receipt photos, recognized items and uploaded bank statements;
your membership in shared groups and the purchases you added there.

What is kept

Nothing is kept on purpose. Copies in server backups are overwritten automatically within 30 days.

Delete only some data

To remove just your history and keep the account, use “Clear history” in the app settings, or delete single operations from the list.
